The factory-building simulation game Dyson Sphere Program has expanded its global reach with a significant new update. Patch V0.10.34.28518 introduces comprehensive localization support for three major languages: Japanese, German, and French. This move aims to welcome a broader international audience to the game's complex interstellar engineering challenges.
Full Language Integration
The update goes beyond simple text translation. Developers have implemented full localization coverage for each new language. This includes all user interface text, subtitles for cinematic cutscenes, and system broadcast voice-overs. Special attention was given to the user interface for German and French, where text length often exceeds English. Extensive UI adjustments were made to preserve readability and visual clarity without compromising the game's aesthetic.
Professional Voice Casting
A key feature of this localization effort is the inclusion of professionally recorded voiceovers. The in-game advisor and various voice prompts have been newly recorded in each language by established voice actors. The casting for the advisor role includes:
- Japanese: Performed by Ugaki Hidenari (宇垣 秀成).
- German: Performed by Frank Schaff.
- French: Performed by Marc Perez.
This addition is designed to enhance immersion for players engaging with the game in their native language.
Future Language Support
The development team, in collaboration with their publisher, has indicated that this is not the final step for language support. Plans are in place to evaluate and potentially add more languages in future updates, responding to community feedback and global demand. The addition of Japanese, German, and French localization for Dyson Sphere Program represents a strategic update to lower the entry barrier for non-English speaking players, allowing them to fully engage with the game's intricate systems and narrative.
